Introduction
E. DAN KLEPPER is a writer, photographer, artist, and outdoors enthusiast.
He is a frequent contributor to both Texas Highway and Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine.
Klepper writes from his home in Marathon where he also exhibits his art and photography at Klepper Gallery.
He is the author of:
- 100 Classic Hikes in Texas (The Mountaineers Books, 2009);
- Wolf Walking (1997) and Ghostdancing ~ Sacred Medicine and the Art of JD Challenger(1998), both published by Stewart, Tabori, & Chang and written under the pen name Edwin Daniels;
- Spirit Walker: JD Challenger and His Art (Tide-mark Press, 2005);
- and Klepper + Klepper ~ 50 Years in the Texas Outdoors (Texas A&M University Press, 2010), a book of essays and photographs that combines his work with that of his late father’s - a consummate Texas outdoorsman and journalist.
